Success!
I got my first result at work yesterday and that means that the experiment that I was working on finally FINALLY worked! Hooray! Only took like 3 weeks when it should have taken like 1. Oh well. I'm guessing beginner's luck only goes so far and the rest relies on trial and error as well as hard work.As a big bonus, I really like all of my coworkers and I think things are really starting to fall in place. The company is really small (12 total employees, including me) so I'm glad that everyone is pretty nice and for the most part, very helpful. I feel really welcome and I'm starting to fit in. And a paycheck doesn't hurt either. Especially since I've been unemployed for sooooo long!
